It takes its name from the homonymous area of origin, cultivated throughout the Mediterranean basin up to the northernmost areas of the Scandinavian countries, it is among the certified seeds most used by the legal cannabis market.
It is a genetically engineered seed for the production of biomass, fiber and hemp oil. With its particularly dense foliage, the Tiborszallasi is nowadays often used in the cultivation of hemp to obtain inflorescences of light collectible marijuana.
The very low THC content (<0.2%) and the right intake of CBD (about 8%), places the Tiborszallasi among the most appreciated varieties of hemp.

The Trichomes of the Tiborszallasi (bulbous and sessile capitate) are observable even without the aid of a magnifying glass, while the presence of the numerous Terpensis is felt through the constant release of odors and fragrances typical of marijuana plants.
The outdoor production ends in July, after 140/150 days of production, and the eradication of the plants precedes the drying process for that part of the crop destined for the inflorescences of Cannabis light. The plants grow copiously up to 3.5 meters in height, ensuring a generous and safe harvest.
The leaves of the Tiborsallasi are dark green, the stem of green is slightly lighter and ribbed. Each leaf of this variety has 9 small leaves. The frequency of male varieties is 50-53%.
